I have the A1i. Complaints: too lightly built, in my opinion. It ain’t no Spot Hogg. I have been through two failed trigger buttons and several wallowed out screws. Heavy too, with most of that weight hung out in front and high. Having said all of that, the basic concept is a good one and the software and functionality seems sound. Also, it is excellent in low light. And Garmin service has been very responsive. On the whole, I like it, but am eager for version 2.0.

I'm wondering does that sight affect pope and young or boone and crockett

Game changing sight for my accuracy. I bought my first new bow in a long while this year. Decided that I'd change up release, sights, just get a fresh start. I really wanted to just remotivate myself to shoot.

I got the A1i after being the guy that scoffed at it when it launched. Between that and the $20 piece of plastic for your nose (Bomar nose button) I'm shooting a 6" brace height bow better than i've shot in 10 years. SIght picture is amazing. Target aquisition is easy. Makes shooting a ton of fun.

Buy it

I have the A1i, 2 of them actually. I will never go back to a regular sight. It takes out the extra movement of ranging, then drawing back to shoot. Takes out the issue of the animal moving to a different range in middle of shot. You stay at full draw and just re-range for a new pin location. That reason alone makes it worth it. Only way I’m changing is if Garmin or another company comes out with a more robust constructed version.
Burris makes a good sight as well, and has made improvements on their second version. It’s just a little to bulky for me and have never had any issues with my Garmin. My spare sight is going on my Nexus 4 when I get a chance to set it up.
