Check out this cresting I did. I painted the rear of shafts with satin finish white enamel, and then I gently chucked it in my cordless drill, and used paint pens to make the rings. I saw that the Meijer by my house has testors model paint clearanced for $ 0.50 a bottle. That may be my next experiment.

The white paint I sprayed on, then I used a black paint pen where the white meets the black shaft, to clean up the tape lines. My plans were to stop here, then I saw a green paint pen and thought what the heck. I did need an acconplice to work the drill, then I made a V-Block to cradle the shaft. I also had to hang a roll of masking tape around the shaft to keep it from jumping so I could use both hands. I'll post a pic tommarrow if there's any interest.

I am big into R/C models and have tons of paint around, need to give it a try....

looks good. I'd expected gold or chrome for a "ghetto" string though.

At least "dey spinnnnninnnn maan, dey spinnnnninnn" Do they still spin at a stoplight?:rolleyes:

I must have a setting on here set wrong. I dont see any pics of these arrows at all for some reason.
