I just got some new arrows and I am about to align the nocks with the veins. Do I need to glue the nock in place or is it not necessary? The box says that I should, but I'd hate to make them permanent, in case I ever change my rest or something like that.

What arrows are these?

You most likely are using push in nocks,
and nope....

nobody glues their push in nocks.

You want to be able to pull them out,
in case the push in nock gets damage
because you start shooting very well

:D

Sometimes,
to get vane clearance,
you need to rotate the nock, just a little bit.
