No, I wouldn't say that in any fashion. Unless you are hunting a heavy duty animal. Don't worry you'll get plenty of penetration assuming you use a good broadhead and the bow is tuned decently. If a 390 gr arrow is traveling 260 fps there isn't an animal on this continent that you wouldn't expect to put 2 holes in with one hit.................. If you're hunting grizzly I'd go with a heavier arrow loaded with explosives.
