Is it better to cut my arrows so thear is about 2 inch over the rest
or is it better to cut them so thear is about 1 inch over rest
When i used 2613 i had about 3 inch over rest with 300 grain points .
gold tip triple x 160 grain points 50 lbs 27 inch draw
I along with a few pros i know shoot them about 1/2" past the rest. The pins cant really handle a beating so make sure your target is soft, but i think this goes for all points shaped like they are:darkbeer:
I am having trouble tunning these arrows. I am getting a high tare. I have tried poundage ranges from 52-62. I have adjusted tiller in and out. I have shot arrow length from 28.5 to 31 inch. Field point weights from 150 to 200. I'm shooting a fall-away rest and tried nocking point up and down, rest up and down. As far as I can tell no strike problem. Can not get good flight.
