Welcome

Matt,
Hello & welcome to the site. The short answer is yes, they are good shafts. If you do a search for gold tip or any combination involving gold tip I think you will find what you are looking for.

Tough Tough Tough

Did I mention they are tough!! I have a pretty big target in my basement, and this passed winter I was playing with a Back Tension release. Well, it got out of hand and I missed the target and stuck the arrow in my cinder block wall. It went in about 3/4". I thought that the arrow blew up because I heard things flying everywhere. I went to get the arrow and the only thing that busted on it was the nock. I couldn't believe it!! Even though it was in tact, I decided that arrow was going to be retired. I am sure it was fine but I didn't want that arrow in my arm. Can't say anything bad about the XT Hunters!!!!

my boy wanted to know why I switched from aluminum to carbon so I showed him. I shot an aluminum arrow at a pipe - bent in half. Shot the carbon into the same metal pipe - about 4" circumference - it went through about half way. And is still straight. Probably not the smartest way to show him - but it worked.
