Your probably better off Googling them and reading any forum reviews than listening to an "influencer" who just trying to sell stuff. I've used their hunters and their .166 pierce arrows for a while. Definitely liked the hunters over the pierce just because ever deer I shot with pierce arrows broke. Plus I decided to keep things simple. Inserts outlets collars, titanium collars all = more $$$$$. Nothing wrong with that if that's your thing. Short story is gold tip makes a good product

Gold Tip Arrows have been around the Longest as the Carbon Arrows Go. Though they were Once Produced in the USA then moved their Factory to Mexico maybe because the Costs to make them are less than here. When Gold Tip did some Advertising They Would Shoot their Arrows into a Cinder Block with little to no damage to them. Today it is more about making a bigger Profit. Like Easton what got them to Where they were 15 Years Ago was the Aluminum Arrows they were Known For. But once Jim Easton gave up running the Easton Arrow Company that has all changed they soon dropped many of their Aluminum Arrow Sizes to but a Few these days and then They Had Beman but now they mostly Make Carbons as the Aluminum Arrows is an After Thought. Funny part is they like to drop Models and the introduce New Ones when some of the Older appear to be just New ones with New Labels on them. They can Only make so many Different Carbon Arrows and maybe why the Other Carbon Arrow Companies have fewer models could it be because they have Found What Works? And never got why Size Diameter is that much Better? Large Diameter seems to be more Durable especially for Hunting. I tried Gold Tips but went Back to my Arrow of Choice Easton XX75 2514 that works best with my Set UP as my Arrows Fly True & better than with that arrow than others I have Tried including XT 7595 Gold Tips and Easton Original FMJ's plus the fact after having 3 Inserts getting pushed back into the Shaft for the $ it was Not worth that kind of Dollars for a poorly design Insert Like the "HIT" Is! Never had that with an XX75 Arrow over the last 30 Years. But New seems to catch Archers eyes and some got to Have The latest and Greatest. But that keeps the Archery Industry in Business I Guess. (Constant Change is the way of Business Today not has worked for many years to just make sales)

Like bows, arrow companies have to change for its own sake to squeeze out some cash.

Especially now with carbon arrows. I have carbon arrows 20 years old that are fine. Aluminums would bend and so you'd have to buy the regularly. If you make a product that can easily last until lost or a deer rolls onto it, then you aren't moving enough product.

I think the ultraskinny arrows with all the heavy outserts are partly just to get some cash. For almost all situations, a standard diameter carbon with internal components work amazingly well.

Airstrikes are pretty good, but not as durable as other options from gold tip. If you're not too worries about weight, the kinetic kaos series is a bit stronger. Check out the GT Quantum Black Labels for a better price point. Other 5mm options worth checking out are the Victory RIPs (TKO or XV) and the Altra 204 (heavy but very durable and spin the straightest I've seen so far).

Just bought some hunter pros for 3D and to be honest kind of mad I bought victory vap TKOs for hunting I should’ve went with the hunter pros or xts in.300 for hunting. The .340 hunter pros tuned out very easy and are extremely tough I slammed through my target and hit my foundation shooting in my basement I shoot 72 lbs and this arrow is in perfect condition

Can't beat the Hunter XT's for cost and durability. Maybe the most popular hunting arrow anywhere. I've used Hunters & 22's for years, some are over 5 years old and still spin true. I'm sure there are many great arrows out there, but I've never had an issue with Gold Tips. Tim Gilling does have some good stuff and is an arrow guru. I know some of his YouTube stuff is called Archery Ops.

I try and like a lot of arrow brands but I always comeback to goldtip. Years ago I ordered arrows I forget the online store, they shipped me the wrong dozen I called em they apologized and told me to just keep the dozen goldtip expedition hunters. They spined correctly and were long enough so I just decided to use em for 3-d and stump shooting. I beat the living hell out of em took forever to reduce the dozen hell I probably still have 2-3 in my arrow bucket. I was sold after that. I shoot the kinetic pierce series now .006 for practice then the LRT for hunting. When I went into my heavy arrow phase I shot the kaos 5 mil killed a bull my only issue was an arrow snapped where the bottom of the collar touch’s the shaft but that was heavy bone contact on the off side hip on a follow up shot.

Been using the airstrikes since 2020 and absolutely love them. Can’t see myself changing arrows unless I want to tinker around with different weights. I’ve shot a few deer with them and throw them right back in the quiver. I will say I don’t like the collars that come standard with the arrows. I’ve always used aftermarket components.
