Haha. It's not a brass bushing. It's aluminum and the nock in them is called the GTO nock. It's equivalent to an Easton G nock and no there is no Nockturnal to fit it.

Just me but I never was a fan of them adding that bushing to the Pro line.

It was added because the main sales of that shaft is for target/league shooters. It's called a uni bushing it is there to protect the rear of the shaft from impacts. If your mainly a hunter then it doesn't matter, just remove them and use a regular GT Nockturnal nock.
No they don't make a lighted nocks to fit a uni bushing they can't make the battery small enough to fit inside.

If you are talking about a Hunter Pro for example, the Nockturnal G nock fits just fine. My son is shooting those and the G size fits with the gold colored bushing.

Is Gold Tip
shipping the uni bushings installed or loose? When they first started adding the uni bushings to the Pro line they came installed. There are a lot of hunters that shoot the Pro line for their hunting shafts. I'm cool with them shipping the uni bushings loose as an "option".

You're correct. I forgot that Nockturnal made a G nock since I've stopped using them. To clear up some confusion, the Pro GT shafts don't come with a G nock. They come with a GTO nock that Gold Tip developed. It's a good target nock but if you're shooting high poundage on your hunting bow, it may be a bit soft. I've never used them for hunting, only target, but my buddy who tried them on his hunting bow at 73lbs had quite a few of them bend on him. Never had one break but they would bend and warp after being shot.

I have personally used the Nocturnal G nock in my ACC's. I thought they were absolute junk. Very inconsistent nock fit and one never even worked. I am not sure about the larger sizes but the G size bent very easily.

The Gold Tip Pro Hunter is arguably one of the best carbon shafts ever built. It is one of the great "legacy" shafts that's killed thousands of big game animals over the years. I have no idea why Gold Tip started adding that bushing and nock to an already excellent shaft and forcing people to remove it. If a target shooter wants that bushing they can buy it as an accessory.

The only Nocturnal I have ever broken was a G nock in a Victory VAP. For some reason when I shot the bow, the nock busted from the energy being forced on the back of the arrow... needless to say I lost the arrow too.

I've used a ton of Nocturnal S and GT nocks with good results. If I'm still using Victory RIPs, I will not hesitate to buy a pack of Nocturnal X nocks. I'm not a fan of how you turn them off, but they make a nock tool... yeah it's added costs but worth it IMO. I just happened to get mine for free from a Nocturnal rep, but after using it so much, I would buy one if I had known.

That's exactly why I stopped using them. I shot one deer with one and it fell out of the arrow shaft after exiting the deer. This is after I had to use a plastic bag to keep I it in the shaft because the fit in the shaft was so loose. I've since gone to lumenok and haven't had a problem.
