Welcome to AT from northern Illinois. Elite Remedy, Mathews…….I would go to a couple of archery shops and shoot as many makes/models as possible. In other words, I would not buy a bow without shooting it first. Everyone’s perception on what is smooth is different. What you like may not be what someone else likes, and vice versa.

Welcome to AT. Personally I would go to a reputable pro shop and see what they have to offer. Generally a or cams that are more rounded are going to be smoother. However I have to say that everyone is different and likes a different draw. I personally like a single cam bow with a nice round cam. Shoot as many bows and brands you can so you can get the feel of what you’re looking for. I think a bow purchase is personal like buying a pair of boots

I was looking for a smooth easy drawing bow and I picked the Hoyt VTM-34 at 50#
Today, at age 68, comfort is among my priorities.
I love it so far. Looking forward to 3D this summer and hunting with it this fall.
I shot my Hoyt Carbon Element RKT for 11 years at 60#,
and before that 13 years with a Hoyt Aspen at 70#
Yea, they call me a Hoyt fan boy and I'm OK with that.

I don't know what your draw length is, but that makes a huge difference. Mine is 29.5" and makes a 50# bow plenty for hunting elk. I have an Elite Enkore that maxes at 52# and I wouldn't hesitate to take it elk hunting.

Best bow for that on the market right now is the Mathews Image. Uses the Phase 4 29 riser and cams, but basically the Prima limbs. 50lb max draw, but can go down to 30lb. Fantastic bow.

Both my Drive NXT and my Elite Envision are very smooth. The Envision by a whisker. The Elite remedy is very smooth as is the Enkore. If looking new, the Bowtech SS34 is nice. I had a crack at one of those on Sunday. Also the Bowtech reckoning 36 gen2 with the smooth mods is an easy draw.

I shot an Elk & a Black Bear (same year) with 53# RECURVE & a 2117 Aluminum arrow tipped with a 3 blade head. Choose the one "you" like & you r

good to go. I have an older model Darton Ex Pro that is super smooth. I can shoot a Field (112 arrows) or 900 round (90 arrows) with it & no problems. Took 2nd at the 2 day NFAA Target Nationals with it in 2016 set on 60#s.. Oh, I was 74 then.
