Greetings,my first post after just joining. I am a newby and have just built my second bow. The first is a 70" maple that ended up at 25# @28". The second is a 64" red oak that is around 32# @ 28". I love woodwork and find these projects extremely satisfying. Sorry to bother with a basic question, I tried to find the answer, but to no avail,so here it is. As the title states,what is a good glue to use for a silk backing ? My oak bow shows signs of slight fraying on the back,and I was hoping backing will stop it from going any further.
