Tried installing inserts myself for the first time and I used the white top bottle of gorilla glue and all of them pulled out. I think this may be user error and I didnt put enough glue on the insert before installation. I cleaned and re-prepped the arrow and this time put quite a bit of glue on. Has anyone else had a problem with this glue? I watched T Bone from bone collector use this and I'm sure he has built an arrow or 2.

Super glue bonds to the moisture. If the humidity is too low when you clean the parts, there might not be enough to adhere to. I would try running a q tip that's slightly damp through the carbon.

Regular CA can be brittle... It doesn't hold up well to impact.

I use rubberized CA. There are a number of suppliers for this. I like the stuff from Bob Smith Industries (IC 2000) available on Amazon or the stuff from Pine Ridge available from LAS.

You mean the brown stuff? If so, that's not the super glue that you use.

I have use the super glue gel which has the green top.

Clean the inserts and the inside of the shaft well.

We always used G5 Blu Glu when I worked at Cabela’s. We heard very few complaints, and I personally had no issues when I did my own arrows.

whatever you use, use enough so that you have to clean excess off the arrow. Twist the insert as you push it in.

Yes the brown stuff.
Wrong gorilla glue. I've used the blue top Gorilla super glue for inserts and vanes and it's worked really well and haven't lost an insert. That said, I prefer the rubberized super glues like Bob Smith or Pine Ridge insert glue. G5 Blue Glue also works well for it.

Just keep in mind that with super glues you need to work quickly. Put the glue on the insert, then when putting it in the arrow spin it as you push in to get the glue spread around and quickly push down on a hard surface to seat it all the way before the glue dries or you'll end up with inserts not all the way in.

That's what I use. Holds up great but if you need to remove inserts later heat up the shaft and they can come out.

I use gorilla glue hot melt sticks and even though I may loose an insert every so often, the convenience is worth it for the arrow tinkerer.

This. The blue cap is "impact resistant" and is what you need. You will not lose an insert, and good luck pulling an old insert even if you try.
I've been able to successfully remove inserts using a drill bit with the blue cap glue, but never had one come out in a target.

I've tried that and it didn't work for me, maybe I used too much glue lol. I was able to recently remove some glue-in target points that I had installed using blue cap GG, but it took a lot of heat and elbow grease. No way they were coming out on their own in a target.

White top? As in their urethane adhesive?

Don't overthink it or try to be different just for the sake of it. Insert Weld, Insert Iron, "Insert Glue", etc., why wouldn't you pay a $2 premium for the glue that the arrow manufacturers recommend using on your inserts? It's pass/fail. There is no better or best. It's the easy button with no trial and error.

Yes, I think they overcharge because it's an "archery" product, but I can't think of the last time I've had one come out using it. While it may not be "the strongest" glue you can buy, it seems entirely adequate in as much as my inserts never come loose even if I want them to...

I've had zero issues with Bohning Insert Iron and it resolved any adhesion issues I had. I don't lose inserts ever now and haven't lost one in 4 years. You can still wrestle an insert out with a little heat and a bit of effort but they don't go anywhere on targets.
