...and he looks even better than I remember ! Notice the battle scars on his left ear and down the middle of his neck.

Unfortunately the taxidermist had to cut the neck a little short, but he still looks pretty good.

Great deer. Pardon me for asking, but why did your taxi have to cut the neck short?
He claims that we messed up on cutting the cape, which I have a very difficult time believing. We hung the deer up and cut the hide down starting from the rear and pulled it down to his neck and then cut the neck off with the entire hide of the animal attached to the head, so he had the ENTIRE hide. 5 months later he called saying that we messed up and he would have to shorten it. I find it really hard to believe what he says, but then again I'm not a taxidermist...

Where did you cut when you got to the chest and legs?

Yeah he messed up and is blaming you. Now you have a neck mount for a chest mount price. I'd be pissed.
