I'm selling my '03 Hoyt RazorTec and a question came up about the grip felt. The felt at the very bottom of the grip is loose on both sides, but stuck in the middle. Is this considered normal wear? What would you do about it, if anything? So far, I've just ignored it since it doesn't affect anything.

I'd like to see your thoughts and comments here so the potential buyer can make up his mind. Thanks.

I think I have a brand new one still in the package in my spares box... if I do I'll give it to you...

I take em off as soon as I get a bow....

I'm with Javi on this one, the felt is the first thing that comes off my Hoyts. For a hunting bow they are a terrible idea, felt on the grip???? It holds scent, and since I do not know too many people that shoot in the summer with latex gloves on those felt grips get a ton of sweat in them.

As far as wear, all of the Hoyts I have seen that still had the felt on them started coming off just like you describe, so I would consider it normal wear.

My came apart in no time at all but I usually shoot about 3-4 times a week. I ended up putting a wrap like on a baseball bat around my entire grip
