Hey all, I'm going to get a new ground blind this year. My old one is just to small to stand up and draw my bow in. I am wondering about those shoot through mesh windows. Do they really work? It just seems to me that they would have to effect your arrow flight somewhat. Does anyone have any first hand experiences shooting through them?

Shot deer out to 35 yds last year and didn't seem to afect the arrow flight at all.. that was shooting fixed blade heads though.. They will affect some mechanicals if they have a large L shape blade and no blade retention system to speek of.. Other than my fixed heads we've shot Spitfire, Rocket and Grimreaper Mechs. through the DB mesh windows w/o a problem..

Best of luck to ya..

I have never shot mechanicals through mine but have had no problems shooting several different brands of fixed blades through the netting.

Life is good in a Double Bull blind!!! Can't beat the Matrix, but also check out Double Bull's T2 blind. It's my blind of choice when packing deep into the backcountry, or runnin' and gunnin'(bowin') for turkey and coyotes. At just 12 pounds, you won't even know its on your back. Also, Rocket Mini-Blasters shoot really well through the nets.

I got the T2....over 0.6 miles into the national forest you want 12 not 20

It has good room too when you stake out the front and the back...

I shot out to 40 yards with montecs through the Matrix netting that is not even as tight as whats on the T2 and them suckers were dead on...
