I have taken 2 whitetails from natural ground blinds and 4 by spot and stalk. The odds of a successful stalk are low but it sure is fun! I prefer to hunt from a good treestand location if possible.

I love to ground hunt out of my Double Bull. Especially when it get really cold. Just make sure you blend it into your surroundings you will have a good time. It is someting different.

I've had excellent success from brushed in ground blinds. 3 Excellent bucks three years in a row. Very moveable and you can make adjustments on the fly if necessary.

Here's one brushed in down South Texas way. Shooting lane is dead center in this pic just to the left of the leaned over dark branch. Cut into brush behind where you want to setup and only cut out what you need. Brush the roof line, edges etc. and step back (rubber boots) and check your work. Make sure you trim brush and let it settle in and touch up where needed.

About 10 yards here and doesn't have a clue.

Cut on contact broadheads fly fine out of shoot through mesh.

Nice buck....18 yards....yep...I bet that was a rush!!!!!

AtTheWall.....great pic sequece. I can't see the blind in the pics...that's the point, I guess.

Do you guys use these for early season hunts, also? It's so hot down here, I don't know how it'd work in a blind.

Also, do you have sucess with same day set ups? I'll be hunting some WMA land and just can't be leaving a $400 blind in the woods.
