I have decided to shoot the gold tip xt hunters. Now, with my set up I would like to know from your experience which arrow will be better for me to shoot the 5575 or the 7595. The chart on GT's web site shows I am at the end of the 5575 spectrum and on the edge of the 7595's. Would you suggest a lighter tip and the 5575's(75/85gr.) or the 7595's with a heavier tip?(100+grs)
BT: Tomkat
Draw Lenght: 31"
Draw weight: 71lbs.
Arrow length: 29 1/2"
Tip weight: 100grs.
YOUR HELP IS ALWAYS APPERCIATED,
THANK YOU
MATT

I shoot 28 inch XT5575 with any whrere from 75 grain to 100 grain heads and for me I think they are a lil underspined at 70 pounds for my Bowtechs and Newberry bows I have had. For my Ross they are OK.....

I would go 7595s, they are a lil heavier but the spine is better for hybrid cam bows or other bows that shoot over 300 fps.

I was leaning toward the 7595's with a 100gr.tip. But when at the shop last night the guy says to go with the 5575's and a lighter tip. The guy said that the charts were set up light for liability reasons and that a 5575 would be just fine? I was thinking that the 5575's would be too light for my setup and really do not want to shoot a lighter tip than 100gr.
I will be getting the 7595's this weekend. What B/H would you suggest? Please no bashing just what you think will do the best on the whitetails I plan on hammering.

THANKS FOR THE HELP EVERYONE,
MATT

I have 140 grain heads cause I shoot 53-55lbs and 29" draw

Pro shop guy whacked a pig with some montecs and doesn't want anything else on his arrows

I had the same decision to make a couple of months ago, my set up was very close to yours. I used 55/75s for last couple of years, ended up buying 75/95s and they seem to fly soooo much better, very happy with the decision.
