Good morning!
Wanted to bring up some questions I have with the new Hamskea Epsilon. They claim to have all of these new features that set it apart from their previous flagship model the Trinity Hunter Pro. I wanted to address a few here and get some feedback to see if there is something I’m overlooking.
1. COR mount system.— they say it gets you to 13/16 center shot, but if you’re tuning your bow correctly, I’m sure you’ll still have to play with some wind age adjustment on your rest. To me this seems like a mute feature. Anyone else feel this way or am I missing the benefit here?
2. Zero Tolerance Technology (ZTT)— I believe this to be part of the three bearing linear shaft design they had on the Trinity. Or is this an entirely new design? If soit would be great to know what exactly it is so I would know what feature I’m potentially paying for.
3. The new rebound dampener— it’s my understanding that the current production trinity hunters come with this as well. And if they don’t, that’s a quick/cheap upgrade to the existing trinity that we may have.
4. It’s lighter and smaller— ok this one I can clearly see. It’s a compact rest for a full containment compared to many others! And a few ounces lighter.
5. All new curved over molded launcher arm— the current production trinity comes with an over molded launcher arm to begin with. What makes the curve in the new one so special? Sure it looks cooler. But does it have some effect on the shot I’m unaware of?
I think Hamskea is a fantastic company and make some great products. This is by no means a bashing post. But I genuinely would like to understand why someone (myself) would upgrade to the epsilon over the trinity hunter pro. It’s a few ounces lighter, a little more compact, and has fancy mounting options for all the new stuff the bow manufactures are trying.
