this is more of a question for us bigger guys that hunt in trees. ive posted about tree stands before. but looks like I wont have to settle for cheap this time.looking for a good hang on and sticks not happy with my heavy pack n stack ladder stand.wife said get what I want this time and be done with it. here is what im looking at.

lone wolf. hunted out of one loved everything except the seat.the sticks were ok wish the had steps on both side but not real issue do to the low weight.

muddy vantage.looks a little more comfortable. sticks look good with steps on both sides a little cheaper. hows the sound in cold weather?is it comfortable?not looking at the cheaper steel ones like the aluminum ones.

like the leveling on both muddy and lone wolf. also like the look of the new lone wolf with the big seat not sure when it hits the market.

third is still the millennium m25 it looks comfortable and was what I was looking for up until recently.its steel hows the noise and has anyone ripped the seat buy putting climing stick on it.was going to get the muddy sticks with it.stand is a little heavy. not the 40 some pounds ive been carrying in to the woods.

im a bigger guy at 5'11" and 225lb I normaly don't get to pull alday hunts maybe 2 a yr.i used a super thin seat pad when I hunted on the lone wolf on an all day sit could get a thicker pad.

so what are the bigger hunters using? I want this to be a good buy don't want to end next yr season and tell the wife I need something different.

Mellenium M150 all the way.

5'11" isnt that big at all in a treestand, you'll have no problem finding stands for you.

Im 6'5" 310 lbs....I have a hard time finding hangon stands, lol.
Exactly what I was thinkin. Lol! I'm 6'5" and 320, my 14 yr old is about your size OP! You should have no problem finding a stand to fit you comfortably. I've had the Millennium and it was a comfortable, nice stand.

lol wow havent felt like I was a small guy in a lone time.was die hard on getting a millennium stand but was unsure of how quite its was when it gets cold.the steel platform on my stand I use now creeks when I move.

The sizes you guys are throwing out, then I'm just wee thing at 5' 8" 203Lbs. I have a LW Alpha w 20" muddy (rope) sticks and like it, but I think I am getting a Millennium 150 Monster before the start of next season.

Get a millennium and you will be happy. I have a bad back and it helps so much.

I could mop the floor with a lil guy that's under 6 ft and 225..... haha

I would say that at that size any treestand will basically hold you. I assume by bigger treestand you meant bigger platform. The millennium will keep you happy, I would check them out.
