Just got my first compound bow. when i first bought it i got a cheapo dual caliper release from walmart on sale. I was just at sportsman warehouse and they let me try a bunch of releases out. the 2 i liked the most are:

Trufire Hardcore
TruGlo Deonator

I really like the ease and comfort of the BOA wrist strap on the Detonator and i felt that the trigger was slightly better that the hardcore. but i like the hardcore fold back and i think i was more accurate with it.

Which would you guys get? are there an hidden pros and cons im not aware of?

^^agreed^^ not familiar with truglo but i use the hardcore max and love it. the trigger is adjustable for both pressure and travel , release body has a inch of length adjustment, head swivels on a bearing. Actually nothing I dislike about it , a great release

I got a Hardcore Max about 2 months ago, and for a wrist strap model is one of the most comfortable ones I’ve ever owned. It works better than any other strap model I ever owned too. You won’t go wrong with getting one.
