Issue? I think for the most part that was blown out of proportion, but to answer your question new blades will be consistently sharp. They are being made in Germany! They will be shipping out to dealers hopefully in the next week to 10 days:)

NO

I bought some at the Deer Expo in FL. And them things are so dull, I gave them to the neihbors kids to play with:wink:

I emailed them asking about the dullness and never did here back from them, that was a couple of weeks ago. So I guess there customer service is as sharp as the BroadHead.

Really disappointed, this is my first year as an archer and decide to get the TightPoints as my first BH, all I can say:mad:

I wish I could het my money back for the dang things now, but you know how it is when you buy at a show and live in a different state, aint gonna happen

Oops guess I should also say the TightPoints are not flying as good as the Slick Tricks, so I am still looking for the ultimate out of the bow BH, any ideas?

You have go to be kidding me! Shipping to dealers in the next week to 10 days! Hopefully I'll have mine by deer season. I called where I ordered them about 3 weeks ago and they said they would have them in a week! They should be sharp enough to kill your deer and then field dress it, then cape, and butcher it after all this.

You should pick up the phone and give Gary a call. His customer service is as good as it gets. I got some 05 heads if your kids need some more toys, but be ready to call 911. ;)

I would invest in a lansky, whether they come dull, or are dulled by practice, you are gonna have to sharpen any broadhead. I have a nice bald spot on my leg from testing mine after using the lansky.

Some people man...

I baught 2 packs of slick tricks last year.. I did notice they werent QUITE as shape as the thunderheads I was accustomed to... I took one of those hand held broadhead sharpeners to them just to put a little more of an edge on them.. Dull or not, I put two BIG holes (blood trails that Hellen Keller could have fallowed) through a young deer and also a mature buck.. Even if they didnt do anything to the blades, I would still be shooting them this year... I spoke with the owner of Slick Tricks through here and I think I spoke to him over the phone as well about another SMALL problem I had.. He told me if I wanted I could send them back and get a new pack.. That was good enough customer service for me to deal with my SMALL problem and continue to buy his products knowing that if anything really went wrong with a head, it would be takin care of... Now if I spent as much on them as Silver Flames, I might be a little dissapointed..

I got an 05' pack and they were as sharp as any broadhead that I have ever owned, and that includes Stingers, Thunderheads, Muzzy, Spitfires, and Razorheads. Sharpness issues were null for me.

so i take it you all just throw your broadheads that ya either shoot for practice or shoot once at an animal away???? ya must since nobody seems willing to simply sharpen a broadhead.

guys it takes a couple minutes. get over it.
