I got my Black out Blue A7 a couple of months ago. Since then I have been shooting it 6 days a week for several hours each day. Yesterday I noticed that my finger sling had worn the anodizing off of both front edges of the grip.

Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me?

they have had problems with the blue color for years now for some reason its hard to keep the blue anodizing from fading
it wares off at the grip where your hand comes in contact with the metal i had 2 conquest 3 the same thing happened to them
for some reason it only happens to the blue color

yes andrew is a very good shot, and my $ would be on him,.....well,.. if i wasnt shooting that is!!! LOL. well i was hoping to shoot a 1350, and he just shot a 1384.(fita) guess i better start wearing off the paint on my grip!!

Yeah . . . you just won't get it in the first place because they can't get the anodizing on!!!

At the proshop I shoot at there are two guys who work in a body shop and they have the same thing happening on there Apex 7 grip. They think it is from the chemicals from the body shop. On the one bow you can clearly see where his fingers touch the front of his riser.

I use cloth bat tape on an exposed grip. Never seen an exposed grip that didn't eventually wear the paint off.

Both of them has only had theres about 6 months. I can see if it were a few years.
