https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I don't get to excited about archery or hunting gear. Here today gone tomorrow. But this is one headlamp I really got to test and enjoy.. What I like is it is small, lightweight, 5 different ranges of illumination,, I discharged it completely on low beam, It took almost all day to discharge. I really like the rubber bands holders. Super easy to adjust, for skinning game or whatever. I always have 2 flashlight in my pack.. I use the Olight and now this one. The great thing is they both take either the cr123 batteries or the rechargeable 3200 m batteries.. They interchange. I just ordered 2 more of the rechargeable. Two small tips.. Make sure you get the Nitecore batteries, not the knockoff. and what I do with all my flashlight is I put the batteries in backwards so they cant discharge accidentally. I give it 5 stars for sure.

Send the defective batteries back and get the very same brand.. You wont believe me but, I tried to discharge before the initial charging... I had it on low, it took many many hours to discharge,,, You just happened to get a fluke.. Good Luck.

I was looking at beamshots today and I think I like the floody too. The others almost seem to be too bright in the center of the beam. Maybe thats not how it really is, but thats what it seems like in the photos.

You guys talking about your zebralights are going to end up costing me some $$$...

Neutral white. It isn't as "bright" to your eyes per say but with 1000 lumens you don't need cool white. I just tracked my hardest track to date. A little far back, rear lungs and liver. She ran through an overgrown field and didn't bleed much. I have a streamlight stinger for the long range work that I also use for a general home flashlight. It's cool white.

There is no comparison imho to the neutral white for blood tracking. It is is almost as good as making it pop as an old Coleman lantern. I still use the stinger for the looking deep into the field for a body but the flood beam zebra is superb for tracking and general walking. I can still see 25 yards or so if needed on rock and roll mode however. I really don't know if I would have found that deer that night with a cool white light with all spot

I am really considering a handheld spot beam zebra to replace my stinger, also in neutral white

My headlamp is the H602w and I couldn't be more pleased with it. The night core charger is also very good. I use it as well. Just make sure to get protected cells. I use the zebra batteries as well but other brands are good too. Just look for one that use Panasonic cells

I used to backpack for IDFG for a job and I used a Petzl. I loved that light and I used it while deer hunting back East until I lost it on a spring fly fishing trip. After that I bought a Black Diamond. At first I really liked the light, it was bright and I really like adjustable brightness. But, now almost 1.5 years later, I effing hate that headlamp. I swear if you breathe on the on switch it will turn on. I constantly find my black diamond had been on for hours/days in my pack, because it takes very little pressure to trigger the on button. I will never buy another Black Diamond.

I received my fenix HP25R today. It is by far the best light I have ever owned. I like that it has both a neutral white flood beam that I think will be great for tracking and then it has an amazing spot light. By far the brightest light I have owned. Very simple to use. I don't have anything to compare it to though.

Got my batteries tonight. Light is very nice and bright. Very nice 120 deg spread. I guess ill have to put it to use to see if it was worth the money. Still gotta see if i should get the 600fw yet.
