I didn't see a thread for pics of does for the contest. Here's my first entry. First day out, 6th deer to walk by. The first deer to walk by was a doe w/fawn, then it was a real fat doe w/twins........ I couldn't shoot'em. Then this came in and was dry..... no fawns! 20yard shot, she ran 22 yards and fell over stone dead. Slick trick'er. 155lbs dressed....... wish she had her winter hair that would have put on another 15-20lbs. Never shot a deer w/short summer hair.

Not bad for a ROOKIE! Second year hunting w/bow. Arrow entered behind the left shoulder and exited just in front of the right shoulder. 1/4ering away.

Nice! That's what the huntin' shows need to show is a couple doe/cow kills:wink:
Yeah I got 3 whitetail doe tags and a mule doe tag to fill. Was sitting in my grandmas garden the other morning and this doe walked up to me to see what was under the tree but she was just a baby and kinda cute:wink:

I don't mind shooting the young ones...... but not when I have to paint over the spots! Wouldn't kill a doe w/young, not this early in the season.

nice doe.

I passed on two does on sat. I could not decide who the fawn belonged to so I let them walk. As I sat watching, it looked like the fawn belonged to the younger/smaller of the two. Figures:rolleyes: :embara:
