Hi All!
Well, I just found this link and am looking forward to meeting a bunch of you. Quick background, I am from New Hampshire, shoot traditional(longbow, wooden arrows), make all my own equipment, am a bowhunter safety instructor, and am in the SCA (society for creative anachronism) which does medieval reenactments where my current archery ranking is a master bowman They use a scoring system that uses a 5 ring target gold being 5pts, 4,3,2,1 respectively. you shoot 6 arrows at 20,30, and 40 yards and as many as you can at 20 yards in 30seconds and average the score. Anything over 100pts is a grand master bowman, my average is 89.6.
One thing that is new that my wife and I are working on is a new business making and selling hunting legal medieval crossbows (hence the name Wyvern Crossbows) and I will use the manufacturers section to go into more detail about that once we are all up and running by the end of this year.
That is it in a nutshell....glad to be onboard...
David
