to you archers of Delaware. Looks like I'm moving to your state very shortly...not sure where yet (minor details)?? Wanted to say hello and to seek out any general info as to what I can look forward to or look out for in terms of hunting in your state. Moving from home state of MN and enjoy hunting most anything, but bowhunting is my main deal! Going to seek the same info for the PA people as well, as most likely will be in the northern part of Delaware. Thanks and I look forward to getting to know that area!

Welcome

bowznoz there are plenty of public hunting areas in north New Castle county. Give a holler when you get here and I can direct or help you scout several areas. Private land access is a knock on the door process but there are those that welcome hunters. Down state is mostly all lease. Give a holler and good luck! Pa hunt in Chester/Delwaware counties..... :biggrin1:

1Hunter...thanks for the info and I will more than likely take you up on that offer to scout and pick your brain a little. Dandy velvet buck in the pic by the way...a Delaware kill? I noticed another post that you replied to with a couple of great bucks! If that's what the area has to offer I'm feeling alot better about the move! How would you rate the overall hunter pressure on the public ground around there? Probably like most states...get off the beaten path and find yourself alone?? Look forward to talking to ya...thanks again man!
