On a QAD Ultra rest I took the timing cord out of the retaining hole in launcher axle (long story). The dang hole is TINY and I can't get the cord back through (or any other cord of reasonable size). Whats the trick?

heat it ,but instead of pushing to make it fat....pull it to a point
