Thanks for helping me or just voiceing opinion is ok also.I just started bow hunting again after quiting for about 10 yrs me and my 2 sons all shoot 5 spot w compound and i made a 3-d course in my garadge w 10 targets.They want to hunt so of course i said yes the problem is i am about 85% + color blind can not see blood at all w/flash light. I use to use a tracker years ago. Now I shoot a bob lee w/ home made lodge pole shafts what do you guys think about me tryin to mount and use a tracker??to my recurve kind of kills the trditional thought doesnt it?

String Tracker

I too have used a string tracker in the past. I think they are very good if you're going to take a shot at last hunting light. I haven't used mine in years but I made this wooden jig just in case I wanted to use it on a bow that doesn't have a stabilizer bushing on it. With just a little tape you're ready to go!

I'll throw another thought in here......I've been told (haven't tried it for myself) that a black light makes the blood glow, color then shouldn't matter. Can anyone confirm this? Here's a link to a battery-powered black light, I haven't bought one yet.
