I am having a heck of a time getting the weight off of the front end of the stab. Blair just sent me a new stab rod to replace my 12" black that was peeling. I go to unscrew the weight and it won't budge. So I figure that I wont be using the rod that is peeling I will just take a set of pliers to it and unscrew the weight....WRONG, IT STILL WON'T MOVE!!!!!

You should have known not to let Chuck Norris screw on your B Stinger weight! :mg:

Are you trying to unscrew the weight or are you trying to unscrew the hex screw at the end of the stab? You might try to put a little lube on it to see if you can break it free. Make sure you are unscrewing the weight itself too.

luckily I just talked with Superman (a.k.a. Blair) and we were able to wiggle sun-of-a-gun lose with a couple of allen wrenches and a few strategic (and padded) taps on a hard surface :shade:
