Sorry if this isn't the right forum.

I shoot using a Carter Attraction, good release, but I just let it fall from waist height to a concrete floor (indoor range).

Now it's defective. I've contacted Carter for some picture of the innards to help me on disassembly/reassembly but no reply whatsoever. Sending it to repair wouldn't be practical, as I live in Brazil.

Is there someone that can help?

what broke on it?

The trigger lever shows no resistance at all (like loose), one may close the jaw, hook the D loop and pull a bit but then it will let the string go, just a few pounds of weight.

Sounds like you possibly cracked the trigger sear inside the body of the release. Betting Forrest is either busy getting ready for the upcoming ATA Show or already on his way there. Hence maybe why he hasn't had a chance to respond yet.
