New Spot Hogg sight, my bow is supertuned. The FARTHER back I go yardage wise, the more RIGHT my arrows are hitting. It is NOT center shot. It is in the sight! I do not know what to adjust to get this right! All the pins are adjusted to the same point, but it looks like the whole sight goes at an angle like this \ I am not sure if it is 2nd or 3rd axis or what it could be but please help me out!
Bungee cord a 24-inch level onto the top limb pocket
and onto the bottom limb pocket of your bow.
Hold the bow DEAD VERTICAL
and use the 24-inch level to confirm.
Now,
look at the wire on your Spot Hogg sight,
and look at the bubble level and see if the bubble is dead center
between the two lines.
If the 24-inch level says your bow is vertical,
and the bubble level on your Spot Hogg sight is not dead center..
you have to adjust the sight bubble back to level,
when the bow is vertical.
See the two screws on the bottom of the sight arm?
Loosen both screws say 3 full turns.
Now,
ADD BACK 4 full turns to the left hand screw.
Tighten the right hand screw until it is tight.
Left screw will be tight now as well.
You are tightening up a wedge
to adjust the sight bubble back to level.
If the bubble moved closer to center,
then repeat again until the bubble is DEAD CENTER
when the 24-inch level says your bow is VERTICAL.
IF the bubble moved away from center,
then take out 3 FULL turns from both screws.
ADD back 4 full turns to the right hand screw
and then snug up the left hand screw.
Keep repeating until the bubble is dead center,
when the bow is also VERTICAL (check 24-inch level).
Make sure the pins all reach the same side of the wire.
When the bubble on your sight reads dead center,
and
the 24-inch level says your bow is vertical
and
all the pins reach the same side of the wire....
then,
look up modified french tuning.
Your pins should look like...|....
when you are done with modified french tuning.
