Here's on old Horton

Back in the early 90's my father was injured and had to switch to a crossbow. In the early 90's crossbows were the devils brew and gaining a permit was next to impossible. It's a Horton Super Sport and I can probably toss a spear faster than this. I was shooting a Martin Vertical and used to tell the old man I could shoot and retrieve my arrow before his got there.

If you notice there is a dial on the side numbered 0-9. Each insuing number was used for longer yardages. Dad passed away in 2001 and I actually used this boat anchor for deer management similar to what Iron Duke does for a couple of years. This crossbow killed a bunch of deer! Crossbows have come a loooong way since this baby.

Hello everyone, I'm John. I have acquired an old Horton crossbow also that looks a lot like the Super Sport model it has the numbers 50440 on the front side of it but the stock is broken at the top and I was wondering where I might be able to order a new one.

Does Horton Manufacturing offer any service or parts for this crossbow because I would very much like to restore it.

Hi,
I don't have a stock, and as Joe said, glue, clamp, and maybe a couple reinforcement pins. I know I have the other parts that you need, but I just moved out of my shop, and everything is in boxes in storage currently, so it might take me a while to find them. I still have a ton of the older Horton parts, as we sold a few thousand of them over the years, and had everything to rebuild them.
