Let me start by saying thanks in advance for your input.

I have on order a standard mount Tetra Ryz and am very excited about it.

I am now finding out something's that I would like your take on.

First, the main concern is that the initial sight I messed with was a MAX on a dove tail. One of the things that sold me was how smooth the vertical wheel felt when raising and lowering the sight. My hesitation is that the MAX has brass gearing and the standard Ryz has Delrin (Plastic) gearing. I am curious if there will be noticeable difference in feel in the sight? I have been told that the HHA is pretty bomb proof, but I want to make sure that is not only in the MAX option.

Also, what is your experience with the Tetra Ryz? The good, bad or the ugly?

Thanks for the input and thoughts.

Eh that “feel” thing is so small it too. Its not like im adjusting a scope turret. The tetra ryz is no diffdrrnt then the tetra only now 2 pins in the scope so the mounting bracket didnt change.

i sold roughly 250 of those sights the first year they were introduced. I think it was 2018 same year the triax came out. I knew i could mount a tetra, mathews quiver, 6” bee stinger, and hdx on anytriax color i had it would sell. Since then ive sold countless of those sights

I’ve been shooting the RYZ since last winter and have had no issues at all. The Tetra line up has been rock solid and now the duel pin RYZ is building on a great proven platform.

I owned my first HHA around 2008 and have tried to find a better single pin but always return to HHA.

I've only had the regular ryz for about a week but I've probably put about 300 arrows down range with it already, so hopefully my opinion counts for something. I honestly have no complaints at all about it. It's been a fantastic sight. the wheel is very smooth, doesn't snag on anything. It's my first movable sight, I went from a fixed 5-pin Black Gold to this and I'm already shooting much, much much better. I went with the 0.01 pin size and it allows me to see so much more of the target, and that has helped me tremendously. I haven't found a use for the second pin yet so I can't comment on that.
