i got an hhb (hophorn beam) stave, the best section was only 62" long so i might as well make it into a staticrecurve.
so what are any good dimensions for an hhb static recurve #[email protected]"? im probly gonna have to back it with linen cause there were some nots that i flattened, accidentally wile removing all the rips and tears from splitting. btw im using the split side as back.
should 1.5" be good or 1.75" wide and 58"-60" long, what do u think? oh yes i only want mild recurves so whats a good lenth for them.
this will be my first recurve, im just gonna rough it out and let it sit for a while til i finish a few more bows so i can get more experience.
