Got one for my in-line too, and also got the “dead shot”. Together they have made a noticeable difference in the sound. I recommend as well.

All my Inline's have the Sandtrap upgrade. Prime should partner up with Hi-Tek for dampening.

 

I bought one too, def an upgrade. I was looking at the deadshot too just because.

 

Does anyone with a Revex think this string stop is necessary?

 

I'm wondering the same thing. I don't have my R4 yet but G5 claims they redesigned the string stop this year. Shooting the demo model at my local shop, it doesn't seem to have the same sound or feel after the shot as previous year's bows.

 

Yeah, I much prefer it when they sound like a tight crisp fart. Wet ones scare me at my age.

 

The Hitek made a HUGE difference on my Prime Black 1 I had. A small difference on my Bowtechs and Mach 1.

The Hi-Tek is a winner on my Inline 3 for sure. As far as comparing the Prime to a Mathews, well the Prime will carry a lot easier do to the balance. My V3X 29 carries heavy in comparison to my Inline and they are only a few ounces difference in weight. All simply due to how the bow distributes the weight. The center grip tech is for real.

 

Do you happen to still have the specifications on the sand trap from your order? I’m looking to get one for my Inline 5, and I’m a bit lazy to do the work right now to measure.

Prime has gotten better with their string stop. Even on the Black 9 which I purchased a new one in 2022 and I did not need one for it. I have one on my older Black 5 which makes a huge difference and decided not to get one on my RVX34.
