Can anybody who has experienced hog hunting in Alabama give me some info? Family is thinking of a vacation. I am thinking of a hog hunt. First do you recommend a outfitter or is the public hunting any good? I have tried searching online but want some valued opinions. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Add public hunting of deer. Will be there for Christmas. I think Geneva county (SE corner of state). Chances of success of public deer hunting?

wished i could help been trying to get info myself serched public sights but they didnt give very much at least not for northern part of state sounds like mobile delta would be best bet for public if you were willing to spend the money outfitter would be your best bet for opportunity

Dont know much about South AL. Up North you have Wheeler refuge which is bowhunting only . The hogs seem to be taking over too.

You also have Bankhead national forrest in central AL. You can get lost if your not familiar though. Best to have Map and GPS
