Homer NE

Any good deer hunting around Homer? I have a friend with a farm near there and has invited me to hunt it. It is a 7 hour drive for me so im curious how the hunting is. He is a non hunter but says there are plenty of deer. It looks like alot of crop land??

I've heard of some nice bucks coming out of Homer. Good friend of mine grow up there and I've been there, looked like some good hunting around there to me.

I have looked at Google earth and the farm I can hunt is about 5miles from homer,,,,looks like not much river bottom and alot of crops. Looks like good woods to the south but not sure if I can go there or not. This will be a late season muzzle loader hunt.
