Has anyone out there owned or shot a Horton Encore. I am buying one off of here and just wondered if there was anything you didnt like or really like about the bow.

You do know you are buying a bow that is no longer in production? I understand Horton was bought out and the new owners are not going to continue the compound line.

I have a CSS Encore and I love it, its one of those bows that you can pick up after not shooting for a year and drive tacks with.

while Horton will not be maintaining the line if you ever needed any parts for it I know that Good Old Chuck Nease is staying in the archery industry with another company (if you look hard enough you will know) and they may be using the same pockets for a year or two.

the OS3 cam system is very accurate.

CSS is who Horton Bought out for the Verticle line.
