Well you better get the camelbak ready. And the camo cooler and wash clothes. Some ice down the shirt will help too. Don't forget the towel to dry off with and the change of clothes after you cool off in the stand. Don't think I missed anything. :)

110 degrees at Coors Field today! I chose to beat the heat by wearing a thick, sleeveless leather lace up shirt/vest sort of thing, after soaking it in hot water! It stays cool for hours & the ol' shrink to fit concept in the sun is cool too! LOL! I shot the bow most of the day today! Gotta make the best out of these hot days!

Greg, about 3 weeks ago I seen on the Weather Channel one day it was 121 degrees in some town in South Dakota. The rails were actually warping!!!
You know, I used to laugh at the Greenhouse effect and global warming. I have since changed my mind. Not due to the fact that summers are hot (duh)
but winters are a lot warmer now than I remember as a kid. I do believe mother earth is going through a change but man is speeding things up a bit.

We have a heat advisory for the first part of the week here in WV.

I don't think it's the greenhouse/global warming, as much as, it's just a natural cycle the Earth goes through every 11 million years or so! Winters in Denver Colorado ain't anything like they used to be here when I was growing up...We have had a couple of big dumping snows in the early spring a few years back, they were melted off within a week, but, the "Blizzard of '82" is still talked about....sub zero temps & much snow for well into a month or so, my '66 Chevelle sat stuck in a neighbors front yard for a month after the snow stopped that year! Brrrrr!

wow, 112. And I thought we had it bad here in Billings MT, 103 degrees. Looks like there will be some relief this week though.

It's not that hot here, but I sent an arrow over the target setting a 50yd pin.
Since I was shooting by the driveway/woods to be in some shade the arrow went into a willow jungle on the dam of a cattail swamp.

I found the arrow and lost a few pounds of water weight while I was at it.

Squirrel season starts Tuesday. Throw one in the bed of the truck and I bet it would be done by the time I got home.
