how many of you carry your bow to your stand in your case?

I use a bow sling. And hoist my bow up the tree clipping on the bow sling also.

I believe that in Illinois you have to have your bow in a case as soon as legal shooting hours are over, at least that is what a friend who hunted Illinois about 6 or 7 years ago said.
Other than a state law I would see no reason to carry your bow in a case in the woods. It isn't going to look new forever!

My valet carries it for me along with all the necessities to make a comfortable and successful hunt. The rest of my entourage waits in the limo in the event I have need of their individual talents. JK I carry it by the grip.

I use a bowsling and shoulder my bow with 1 shoulder and my tree stand by the other shoulder.

I dont use a case. I like this stabilizer mount from AEP that allows you to fold up your stabilizer and use it as a handle.

It would be silly to carry your bow case you would be carrying more scent with you into the field.

Bow Drag

I tie a towel that has been soaked in "Doe in heat scent" to my bow and then drag it in.

I carry it by the handle and at the ready. I walk down old logging trails until I get near and then through the woods. Deer cross these old logging rds and the bears walk down them, I wouldn't want to be caught off guard

the only reason i do is to get to my stand i have to go through some
really thick stuff. this helps protect the sight and no small twigs get
caught in the cam. never had a problem with scent. as a matter of fact
a 6 pt. smelled my sons case.

no bow case. never.

used the Bow Sling this year while Mtn. Bike Hunting. It worked great. Had my climber on my back and bow slung to the side. Made the 4-mile bike in extremely easy.

Also a cool pack by Game Plan Gear called the Bow Bat.

It's a backpack, tree stand back rest, and bow carrier all in one.
