I have a Doghouse blind and I keep it in the backpack it came in but I store it in one of those huge ziplock bags with a few of the fresh earth wafers. Would this be ok to store it like this until ready to use?

I have a Ameristep Penthouse, i store it in the backpack it came in, but what your doing I can't see a problem in it. I might put earth scent wafers in it to boot, can't hurt a thing imo. I put my blind out turkey season and its still out there, will hunt deer from it here before long, and I will be sure to bring it in and put it in the backpack, should have brought it in right after Turkey season, I don't think it faded much if any, thats my biggest concern when it is left out in the summer, sun hitting it, although it was pretty much in the shade.

What Dave 2 said sums it up for me still using my old Penthouse,keep it in
the case when its not in the woods!
