Hi Guys (and Gals),

I'm new to this forum but have read many of your postings with great interest.

I have just bought some PDP aluminium point inserts and some uni-bushings (size 2315-7-2419) for my 2317 aluminium arrows.

The outside diameter of the inserts etc is approx 0.335". The inside diameter of a 2317 shaft is 0.325". This means a 0.010" interference fit.

I have tried installing them but they are way too tight. I don't think they can be fitted without either damaging the shaft or at least creating a significant bulge.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Am I missing something?

Get easton inserts and unibushing. They will fit the best.

Sorry, they are PDP inserts but Easton Super Uni-bushings. Both the same outside diameter.
