Does the Monster's cam system tune like a binary cam or a cam 1/2?
What happens if you put a twist in the string?
What happens if you put a twist in the bus cable that attaches to the lower cam?
What happens if you put a twist in the bus cable that attaches to the upper cam?
Want to find out how to fine tune the bow to make it shoot the best it can.
Thanks
The Monster is a DOUBLE cam system!!
Neither Binary nor Cam.5!
Put a twist in the string, shorten your DL.
Put twists in the bus cables increase your DW and lengthen your DL.
Make sure you twist BOTH cables at the same time or you will bring your bow out of synch.
A double cam bow must be tuned for a specific shooter.
When YOU draw the bow, YOU must FEEL, are the cams synchronous or not.
Are both cams at the same time on the draw stops or not. Is one cam
earlier, you have to twist the cable on the opposite side.
Is it OK for YOU, for the next shooter, the cams can be out of synch,
due to another preasure point in the grip.
Due to the fact that the "famous" AVS = Advanced Vectoring system,
act like an old-fashioned floating Yoke system, you cannot tune the bows
cam lean by twisting one side of the yoke cable. Sad, but true!
On the other hand side, due to modern string and cable materials,
there will be not such stretching and creeping in cables and string. Therefore,
to tune a Monster is NOT such a pain in the a**, like 10 years ago with
the old stuff on double cam bows.
