I got another robinhood today, and it's my first with my 101st Airborne. When I first bought the bow I couldn't shoot it for beans, I was all over the place even at 30 yards! Turns out it took some simple steps to get it shooting really well...

1. shortened the draw length to 28"
2. replaced custom string with Bowtech factory string
3. lowered peep sight to comfortable position

I did these one at a time, and each change increased accuracy. Then I checked my other bows, and two of them have the peep too high. Not surprisingly, those two bows I have trouble shooting with consistency. The moral to my story is sometimes you have to check the basics.

I moved my peep down before season started this year. I'm not real sure how I was able to shoot it like it was. It was close enough to kill a deer but to uncomfortable this year.

I wonder y changing the strings made u more accurate? I thought all the after market strings would do is add a lil speed and allow ppl to have the desired colors for looks and what have ya, but to change back to factory strings and become more accurate is cool beans i suppose....
