There was some disscusion on this a month ago or so on Bowsite.

The overwhelming response was negative. I think only one out of more than a dozen guys could tune them.

I own an archery shop, and I must admit that I have been scared to order any in because of that. As long as I keep Slick Tricks and Stingers in stock, I think my four blade customers will be happy.

They sure look like a nice head, perhaps they just had a bad early batch.

I'd be real interested in the bloodtrail the MX-4 leaves vs a standard Muzzy 100 gr 3 blade. Also how bad does the fourth blade kill penetration? I shoot fairly low KE so I have to be concerned with such things.

I got my MX-4s last weekend. Initially the broadheads grouped slightly (and I mean slightly) right of my field points - but I have to add that this was the first time I shot broadheads with the new bow/setup.

A micro-adjustment of the WB and the MX-4s grouped beautifully together with my field points.

Summary: Mine also fly awesome. I verified this for all distances up to 40yrds (won't shoot further when hunting).

Mine group well

I have shot mine just for kicks from my Allegiance that is setup for 3D right now and they shot just a touch high but I'm not worried I will set it up after probably one more shoot and be set for the season. I am planning on sighting them in on a Beman
max-4's.

Satisfied!!

First time ever shooting a four blader or a Muzzy.
Hoyt Cybertec set @ 67lbs... 27" ST 400's with four inch feathers set at hard left helical....

PERFECT arrow flight ..shaved the feathers off my first arrow, which was tipped with a target point to compare grouping..

I thought about this today as I was shooting so I put one on an arrow.

Shooting carbon tech cheetah 3d's out of my Tribute I shot a field tip arrow and a Slick Trick 100grn and they hit with in about 1/4 inch of each other at my point of aim. Not bad.

Shot the MX4 also in 100grn, trying to hit the field point/broadhead group and much to my suprise the MX4 hit about 4inchs low and 2 inchs right.

I repeated a few times to make sure it was not my "awesome form" that caused it and each time the results were roughly the same. This was at 20yards!

I think that I could get them to hit with FP's but as it stands right now the STs are getting the nod this year as they fly the best for me. From this point on it is BH's only for me during practice for Oct 1st opener.
