how many pounds do you need to pull at 50m?

More goes into it than pull weight. Draw length, Arrow weight, and Bows IBO all play a roll in your question or problem. I shoot regularly at 50 & 60 yards with a 60 lbs bow, 500 gn arrow, 29" DL with a 340 IBO bow. Sorry I can't give any more info.

Sorry 1/2 bubble, I have not shot a stick or recurve in over 50 years, I was trying to point out to the OP what influences a bows ability to shoot a distance. Theblindarcher and Lees gave good suggestions, I forgot about moving the sight reference closer to the eye.
