I just installed a new set of WC strings on my Ultratec and shot it 50 times... How many shots does it take to break 'em in? I've heard anywhere from 50-200.
I'm anxious to fine tune it and site it in!

I have heard from 50 - 100. I put on a new set of WC strings and cables and installed a peep right away. I have a couple hundred shots on them and they have not budged. I am thrilled at them and hope they stay that way.

I installed a set for a friend a couple weeks ago on a Mathews. I installed them, set cam rotation, Axle to axle and brace height. I then pulled the bow down about 25 times on the bow scale. Installed the peep and we went out back. The peep never moved after 100 shots and we called it good.

With all high quality strings I use this process and very rarely do I have to do anything to adjust them.
