I just spend a crap ton of money on a bunch of sitka gear. Since I love in Alabama our rut is just now getting rolling good. I am wanting to use my new sitka gear on my 5 days off coming up in about a week. My question is how do I need to wash my new sitka gear to get it ready to hunt . I have a few bruisers that I'm after so I want to do things right. Also whats everyone's opinions on ozone? I almost bought the little $29 boneview ozone generator until I saw it was like 2 inches. I think I'd like to try ozone but what's the general consensus....

Turn inside out, use delicate cycle. Hang dry. Use ozone very sparingly. Good luck.

I washed by tag directions. Think it's cold/gentle cycle with scent killer detergent. Then hung dry outside. I use ozone generator in a tote bin for storage. Run it for hour or so before my hunt. Seems to work great for me. I am believer in ozone generators vs everything else.

Cold water, front loader, and delicate cycle.
Hang dry.
My outer insulating layers only get washed once a year and everything else is once or twice a week.
No Ozone or sprays.
