I would like to go from 100 to 125 grains. Easy to do with field points. However, I prefer Phat Heads and they are only in 100s. How do I gain the extra 25 grains?

Why the switch? Are you looking to increase FOC? If so, you could get threaded-thru inserts, like PDP, and add weight to the insert to increase FOC.

What type/brand of arrow are you using?

If your inserts are threaded through, you can buy some Gold Tip threaded weights and add them to the back of the inserts.

Unscrew the 100'S and screw on the 125's:wink: I have noticed very little difference in point of impact out to 40 yards as long as my arows are spined adequately. I am shooting FMJ's and total arrow weight is about 450 with 100's and 475 with 25's and I am shooting about 280fps with a 30"dl.

Holy smokes, they make a 125!!!! But, it looks more like the Premium. Not interested in adding more sail onto the end of the arrow. I DO like the looks of the 145s. That might be an option, too.

I am looking for more FOC. I'll look at GT weights and see what it does.
