I've noticed some fraying on my bow string and cables in several places. My bow is about 3 months old and I've been shooting it quite a bit.

Will string wax help to minimize this fraying? Thanks!

You should wax it after everytime your done shooting it.

Definatly wax that string. Also I always change my cable slide as soon as I get a new bow. Sometimes the factory slides are not the best for your string.

I have used the teflon one made my limbsaver. I dont know how great is it or if its any better than anything others, but its like 10-15 bucks and I thought it was an improvement over my factory one..

Wax is an archers best friend.

Wax for sure.Not all string waxes are created equal though.I like the scorpion venom stuff,and have used ML-6,and black lightning too with great results.

Check the Alpine slides out...they're GREAT! :thumbs_up
