I just cant get the rest to drop fast enough going around the tech riser. It seems like the drop takes place far to long after the arrow is released. I even timed it on the draw boward and the draw stops are a good 1/4-1/2 off the cables before it begins to drop. I am assuming it is because the string has to go around the riser then to the cable

Yes it will work. But without seeing what you did it is only a guess on how to fix it. The cord is routed on the outside of the bridge, timing is everything no matter what bow it is put on. Sounds to me like you have a timing issue more than anything else.
